Psychology

Clinical psychologists are health care professionals who evaluate, diagnose and treat mental, emotional, adjustment or behavioral health problems. Clinical psychologists use treatment methods to prevent mental or behavioral health problems and to help individuals (children, adolescents and adults), couples and families cope with psychological and/or physical health problems, stressors and crisis.

Childhood psychology is a branch of traditional psychology that centers on children, particularly their development and behavior. Today, it is one of the most popular branches of psychology, covering a range from birth to teenage years. Some areas covered under childhood psychology include developmental delays, behavioral issues, social abilities, and emotional and mental development.

Pediatric psychologists are healthcare professionals who evaluate, diagnose and treat mental, emotional, adjustment or behavioral health problems. Pediatric psychologists use treatment methods to prevent mental or behavioral health problems and to help children and their families cope with psychological and/or physical health problems, stressors and crisis.
